Our website is currently our catalog, which allows us to add items and update things often. In the future we may have a catalog of our handcrafted jewelry so check back often. Where can I find a retailer that carries Island Cowgirl's unique hand made jewelry designs? You may email us your address along with your zip code and we will get back to you with a retailer in your area that carries our collection. I saw something in a magazine, where can I get it? We are always getting awesome press! So if you saw something in magazine and want to buy it...browse around our website...chances are it is there! If you can't find it online...please call the studio and we probably will be able to help.   Placing an order How can I order? You may order online using our secure shopping cart which encrypts all of your sensitive information. Phone calls are welcome too!  Give us a call at 714-963-6200 and we will be happy to take your order. Our studio hours are 9-4 Monday-Thursday. You may also phone our store at 714-580-9909.  Do you have gift boxes available? All of our unique handmade pieces come with a jewelry pouch, a bio card and are gift boxed real pretty.   How do I know if my order was received? If you have successfully placed your order through our website you will receive an order reference number on the final checkout page. You will also be sent an email confirmation. Please be sure to contact us if you have any questions about your order.   Payment What forms of payment do you accept? We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal. When do you charge my card? We will only charge your card when we ship. If something is backordered or no longer available, rest assured your card has not been charged.   Shipping Information When will my order ship?  Most orders ship within 2 business days so you can expect your order to arrive within 7-10 days depending on which coast you are on. (We are on the left coast) How is my order shipped?  UPS ground. If you need something in a big hurry please select our expedited shipping options upon checkout. We offer UPS ground, 3 day, 2 day or Overnight.  We DO NOT ship to PO Boxes. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada may incur additional charges. We currently only ship to US and Canada. Can I track my order? Sure. When your order is shipped we will send you the UPS tracking information via email so you can see when it will arrive. How much will it cost to ship my order? To determine our most current UPS shipping costs simply add an item to your cart, choose your shipping method and type in your zip code and it will calculate the shipping for you.   Repairs & Returns Can I return or exchange my piece? Although we know you will love your unique handcrafted Island Cowgirl Jewelry, we will be happy to accept returns or exchanges within 21 days of the date of shipment. All returns must be in original condition and not worn. (Special or custom orders are NON-returnable) Sale items are NON-returnable. To return an item please include a note saying if you would like a return or an exchange and a copy of your sales receipt so we can properly credit your account. All returns must be sent insured post or UPS and boxed. Do not use padded envelopes. Please print out the return form located here: RETURN FORM     How can I get my Island Cowgirl jewelry repaired? We understand that you LOVE your designer handcrafted Island Cowgirl jewelry...and never take it off! If it is in need of repair we would be happy to help you with that. Repair services for damaged & worn jewelry will vary. Typically we charge $10 for leather restringing...and everything else is on a case by case basis. We will phone you and let you know how much your repair will cost. (We know you miss your jewelry but please do not call us after 4 days and ask where your repair is. Remember, typically it takes a week to get to us, a week to get back to you, and we need time to put it in the schedule depending on what needs to be done. )     Miscellaneous Do you have a store?  If you happen to be in California drop by our flagship store. It is located at 320 1/2 Main Street in Huntington Beach right next to the pier. There you will find a wide selection of our handmade jewelry...as well as one of a kind items. If you are lucky you may even see Nigel, Heather's Old English Sheepdog, charming the customers. Can I get something customized or in a different size? We try to do our best to make our customers happy! A lot of times we can customize or handcraft our jewelry according to style or size...the best way to find out if this is possible on a particular piece is to phone our studio to discuss your special request. Our studio number is 714-963-6200. What is Island Cowgirl made of? Island Cowgirl Jewelry is made from lots of love, a lot of inspiration and a little bit of magic. We hand carve each original design in our studio right here in Huntington Beach, California. It is then cast using the ancient art of lost wax casting. Each piece is comprised of combination of sterling plated, silver filled or sterling silver components. We only use semi-precious stones and recycled metals.   How do I clean or care for my Island Cowgirl Jewelry? We recommend cleaning our silver jewelry with a soft polishing cloth. We sell them here if you would like to purchase one! Please do not use commercial Silver Dip as it will remove all of the words/details of the piece. Also please do not wear the our leather pieces in the water. Water can make it age, weaken, discolor and mold. To keep it strong and beautiful it is best if it remains dry.   Why is Island Cowgirl Jewelry so cool?  Because we spend a tremendous amount of time daydreaming and thinking up new inspirational ideas for more jewelry. Also, because each and every piece is made by hand and made to last. We always infuse each and every piece with a little love, a little bohemian ingenuity & a whole lot of magic, which gives it that unique rugged handcrafted jewelry edge. Although, I do catch him practicing in front of the mirror so he has become really, really good at it. Is that dog on your website a stuffed animal?  No, although many children think he is. He is a real dog actually. An Old English Sheepdog...and his name is Nigel...also known as Nigel-licious. He is part of the Island Cowgirl team. He is very proficient at tearing up boxes, stealing shoes and drawing customers into the store. Also, if your order was packed wrong...we always blame it on him.
